Robin Van Persie set up Wesley Sneijder to score Netherlands' winner in their 1-0 victory over Japan on Saturday.

The striker once again led the line for his nation as Netherlands took a three-point lead at the top of Group E.

The game's only goal came in the 54th minute when Japan keeper Eiji Kawashima mis-judged Sneijder's shot. Van Persie had teed up the midfielder to shoot from 20 yards.

Netherlands will qualify for the knockout rounds this evening if Cameroon fail to beat Denmark.
