Gilles Sunu signs contract extension
Young forward Gilles Sunu has today signed a new contract extension with Arsenal Football Club.
 
Frenchman Sunu, who is currently on loan with Championship side Derby County until the end of the season, played an integral part in the Club's FA Youth Cup and Academy ‘double' winning side last season, scoring vital goals during the victorious run.
 
Sunu, who turns 19 on Tuesday, who scored four goals from his nine Reserve team appearances this season, has made the step-up to first team football this campaign, making his debut in the Carling Cup Third Round victory over West Bromwich Albion, when he was named in the starting line-up. He also came on as a substitute in the UEFA Champions League match against Olympiacos in Athens in December.
