Marouane Chamakh met his new team-mates for the first time on Tuesday as Arsenal's first-team squad returned to training.

Pre-season got underway under the watchful eye of Fitness Trainer Tony Colbert and Marouane was in the thick of the action.

The Moroccan striker completed his transfer from Bordeaux in May and could make his first appearance for Arsenal when they face Barnet in their opening pre-season fixture on July 17.
